As a craftsman/woman, you can apply for legal recognition from the Craftsmen’s Committee of the FPS Economy (law of 19 March 2014). Recognition is completely free and confirms the authentic nature of your activity, the manual aspect of your work and your craftsmanship. Thanks to the logo, you can count on greater public visibility (logo visible on your communication media, in your shop window, on your products, etc.) and you can participate in the Day of Crafts.
If you get certified as an artisan, you will be entered in the register of artisans. A page with your name will also be created on the federal website. There, customers will find legal information about your business, among other things. You can also link to your own social media there and present your work in a more personal way.
